Q. Are references and background checks conducted on all candidates?
A. At the request of the client, Interactive Legal Search will conduct background and reference checks. Some clients prefer to perform their own reference and background checks.

Q. How can a client assist Interactive Legal Search successfully generate the appropriate candidate?
A. A complete and thorough description of the position will assist our recruiters in identifying the appropriate candidate. Immediate feedback on resumes and interviews will help us know if we have identified the proper skills and experience, and will show respect to the candidate.

Q. What should a candidate expect from Interactive Legal Search?
A. When candidates are recruited specifically for a particular position, they will be presented in a professional manner and will be given feedback as to the interest of the client as they go through the process.

When a candidate resume is submitted to Interactive Legal Search on an occasion other than being recruited on a specific search the resume will be entered into a confidential database and reviewed against open assignments on a consistent basis. When skills and experience match the requirements of a position, the candidate will be contacted.

Q. What can a candidate provide to assist Interactive Legal Search identify experience as it relates to a client's requirements?
A. A full and complete resume including education, current and past work history with dates of employment and job responsibilities listed under each company/law firm. A list of references, law school transcripts, and a brief (redacted) writing sample. A cover letter should include geographical preferences, number of family members included in relocation, current compensation package and compensation expected.
